50k miles is nothing on these. That vehicle has an easy 8 years on it.

So Gen 3 or G4. There are pros and cons to both. Loads of reviews of both on youtube to help.

Used ones are gas thirsty especially awd vs the new ones (Hybrid only) but the previous grn has more hp. Plenty of review on yt what to watch out for buying used, look at siennachat as well for owners feeedback.

If you have the $$ for new and can wait, I would buy new. But that’s just me. Buying one of these used is also a great option. I don’t think you can really go wrong. It’s just a question of what you can afford and how long you’re willing to wait.

Many dealers I’ve contacted get about 10-15 every 3-4 weeks. I rather get it sooner than later due to a growing family. Currently, in Prius and Corolla. It’s not ideal with strollers and baby stuff and crying in the back seat.

What’s the wait on a new Sienna in your area? Do you need the car now?

I’m in the market for a Sienna. I’m looking at either a new Sienna XLE at $45k or a used 2018-2020 Sienna LE $33k at around 45,000 to 55,000 miles. 

Obviously the engines are different now between the new and used Sienna. How’s the reliability on 2018-2020 Sienna? Is 50k miles too much? I’m planning to own it for about 5-8 years.

The price is about $12k different…should I just go with brand new?
