Redditors are some of the most hard-headed people to talk to man.

It's astonishing that I can post a story of a bad experience at an Airline, explain as much as I could without going into a loop (because you know THAT'D be pointed out too), and have the entire thing be invalidated from nitpicking and not even TRYING to give the benefit of the doubt. There's such a mob mentality that people are literally trying to tell me that I should've done things NOBODY fucking does just so that they can be "right".

I posted the situation because I wanted someone else to hear about it, I posted it because I wanted to see if anyone else had dealt with something similar, and had maybe managed to find a solution for it. Instead, within minutes of posting the shit, I'm not only getting instantaneously down-voted to all hell for it but I'm also being told:

"You shouldn't have done this, you shouldn't have done that, it's your fault, YOU'RE the problem" or the most egregious one "You're being biased. There has to be more than OP is letting on"

I admit to the mistakes that were made during the situation itself, I'm not going to fucking sit here and try to "influence" strangers to be on my side. What I AM going to do is defend myself when I'm being told to just allow people to act any type of way towards me, and that my retaliation in any regard AUTOMATICALLY puts me in the wrong. No, that's not how this shit works. Stoicism doesn't always make you the "bigger person", apathy towards bullshit doesn't mean you're on some moral high-ground. SOME THINGS are worth fighting for, and if we're being told we have to pay for something already paid for not even a few hours beforehand, I'm going to combat that shit.

Nobody talks about that though, no they only focus on the fact that we recorded, or that there was a light shoulder tap. Nobody talks about how we were being disrespected and berated first, but it's all well and good to them because they make the ASSUMPTION that it goes deeper. Imagine telling a story to someone else, and because they can't verify it themselves, automatically start to blame YOU for such ignorance. Even giving more context than needed, it's STILL your fault in some way, god-forbid a Redditor is wrong, that's just blasphemous.

Can't wait to see how this rant further invalidates my point in an entirely separate post too.
