Hearts and Minds gang, assemble (Civil Affairs)

Saw a the "high school" post and one of the clusters of comments was all 38s, and it was kind of nice...

I've been out a while, but I miss hearing anything/everything about CA. (Obv don't break OPSEC, not sure I need to say it but I will)

Yeah sometimes I wish I'd picked an MOS with more lucrative options after serving (I was Bravo/Reserves but there were other mitigating factors), but I have to say I loved being CA; there are some cool mofos there.

Seriously, I can't think of more than two interpersonal conflict moments in over ten years. Never anything major.

And I'm not sure where CA lands right now but when I was in it was still in the Spec Ops umbrella, and the Unconventional mindset made an impact with me in ways it's hard to quantify... I remember Cadre talking about being Jedi, and that was a fun way to think of things

Anyway, I'm rambling. Feel free to share whatever you like, if you think CA sucks let's hear it!

Also shoutout to PSYOP, don't know if y'all still train together with CA but you did in my day, and lol it was something sharing your Cadre! The guy with the megaphone full of screaming babies.
