Hi I’m a 25 year old who’s tired of getting hit on my high schoolers. I’m not new to makeup but I hardly look different even if I’m wearing a face full of makeup, especially with my questionable eye makeup skills. I’d really appreciate any advice on what I can do to to make my eyes look more expressive. I have very straight short eye lashes so you can’t even tell I’m wearing mascara here.

I agree! A little wing goes a long way. Also experimenting with different eye shadow colors & combinations can be helpful in deciding what you like on yourself…and that’s what matters most; how you see your look & how you feel about it 😊

You have super pretty eyes and tbh I think a bold, bright eyeshadow would really make them pop

ETA, also like a good wing might help? They're a bit annoying to practice but the result is hella worth it

I have big eyes like you and I love doing a halo eye with a big pop of gold shimmer in the center. Big eyes can get away with a lot of eyeshadow so have fun. I like to do very dark lining and wings in the corner and it looks surprisingly muted once the look is done. I recommend going bold. Another nice thing for big eyes is to do a nice mono color, usually a bit lighter, and pair with some tight lining.

First off, you are stunning! With your undertones, hair/eye color, I would play around with a color that is close to what your lip color is in this photos. With your features, I would personally do a light swipe / pop of color and a very slight wing or even just a light line of the upper lash - doesn’t have to be crazy.

I haven’t tried this personally, but I have viewed pictures where some just add that color to their inner corners or they do a wing or under eye reverse wing (not sure what it’s called) with a fun color.

Believe it or not I had both done here 🥲 My eyelashes are stubborn
