Fatigue causing depression like symptoms

As I’ve increased my dose (currently 1 mg), I’ve become increasingly fatigued. If I’m not working, I lay in bed and find it really hard to get out of bed. When I finally do, I have such low energy. It’s literally like my bed is a magnet. I’m not a fun mom or wife anymore. I’m always behind on housework and feel like I’m not on top of things like I used to be. There are other factors like my job is super stressful (I’m a new nurse in the ER) and I recently switched to night shift. I’ve only lost about 16 lbs since starting Oz 3 months ago. I’m wondering if Mounjaro causes the same side effects. I’m so desperate to feel like my old self again but don’t want to give up on Oz. Any advice?

Man I’m on my 3rd week of .5 mg and experiencing similar symptoms to your own. I just don’t feel like myself at all. Tired, depression, and brain fog. I can’t think of words like I normally can. Also just my general personality seems like it’s been hollowed out somehow. I’m not my normal, enthusiastic, vivacious self. I’ve gone back to binging TV shows instead of working on myself or reading which I was doing before. I don’t feel as connected emotionally either.

It’s doing great things for my blood sugar and I’ve lost some weight but it’s not worth these sides at all.

My two questions are: for anyone else who has experienced these sides, have they gone away?

Will mounjaro cause these sides or is it known to be free from them? I read it doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier like Semaglutide does which gives me hope that it might not have theee same sides.

I got my doc to switch me over this week but I have to wait til next Wednesday for my first MJ shot

Keep us posted, cuz this sounds exactly like me and it's debilitating. Never even heard of this other med until today. Does insurance cover it for obesity or do you pay out of pocket or get it for type 2?

Im stopping all GLP1-agonists. Nothing is worth these side effects. I feel like death
