Tell us more. How were the roots when you repooted? What kind of soil did you use, and did you press it tight or kept it airy?
It could be trabsplant shock, in which case the roots can't really take in water, thereby riksing overwatering it. In that case (judge by feeling how damp the soil is, by stcking your index finger into it real deep):
The roots looked really good and heathy. I used some potting soil mixed with a little peat moss, our compost and orchid bark.
I tried my best to leave the soil some what loose, but I have been known to over compact soil by acc indent. I’ve check and feels pretty loose.
Soil doesn’t feel moist, watered it a decent amount since on first repotting but haven’t since, misted about every other day. Guessing I should increase that.
Sounds like it would appreciate some more water - when they're ok, they need lots. You have the right kind of soil, that's for sure! After what you just said, I'm betting it's transplant shock.
Thank you very much I’ll get some water on it asap! Hope it bounces back soon!
I have had this in that same pot for over 2years and the soil wasn’t holding water well anymore, so removed from the planted and added now soil mixed with a bit of compost, peat moss and bark as the previous soil was very chunky from the person I got it from.
I have read that peace lilies take a bit of time and their dramatic style will last a bit from shock but This weekend will be two weeks and it’s looking aweful.
Any thoughts how how to save one of my favorites?🤞
