No experience with lamotrigine but mirtazepine helped me a ton. Felt good in the morning and sound sleep. Drawback of mirtazepine is it gives you the munchies so some gain weight from late night snacking.

Personally it actually has helped with my mental acuity. Less chaos in my stream of thought, feels easier to organize.

I would have tapered off effexor but it helps me quite good. Adding one snri/ndri/something with dual action always help both my dep and adhd

Doc presc lamotrigine but i am wary of it if it'll help focus and attention at all coz it's a mood stabiliser with major anti depressive property🫣

I would try starting with one and adding the other if it's not sufficient. Lamotrogine worked wonders for me personally and I've heard a lot of good experiences with mitrazapine from close friends/family. Maybe stop the effexor or taper seems like it's having a negative effect.

I like mirtazepine. Initial weight gain and munchies but that wears off, however I feel that the drowsiness is persistent.

Yes, I took mitrazapine decades ago.  I slept non stop and ate everything in sight.  That being said.. it was the greatest sleep of my life.  Glad to have lost all of the weight, however.  

More recently I had a friend on lamictal and they said most people get the rash for the first couple of weeks.  I don’t know if that’s just him or most, but it’s Steven Johnson Syndrome, in rare cases very dangerous.  But I’ve heard awesome stuff about it.  It was even mentioned in my favorite show Outer Range.

Did anyone have a lot of vivid dreams taking mirtazepine?

- diagnosis of Adhd and depression

-already on effexor(75mg,  ritalin(10-40mg depending on the day) and escitalopram(20mg)

-facing nausea and anxiety due to the addition of effexor,(150 mg initially but reduced to 75 due to nausea) maybe it's temporary but it's getting really frustrating.

- i read that mirtazepine help with both.

- Web showed no interaction of each other. What should I add? Or should I try both by adding them one at a time.
