I can't cope with the grief of losing a cat

I am in tears as I write this.

I don't know what to do.

Our cat passed away while my boyfriend and I were overseas. The cat's condition declined in a couple of days.

They found crystals in his kidneys. What's interesting is that the cat (Tommy) went to the vet just a week ago and they didn't find anything.

And the worst thing is that the poor kitty died alone, in a foreign clinic.

I don't know how to deal with that grief.

We will find a therapist, but I am interested in some support. Please.
