Is it true feel state kc is turning into a proper dispo? Is that why the dispo is carrying 50$ proper eighths now too?
The owners of the KC location did sell to Proper. The people that own Feel State did not actually have any ownership in the dispensary - they were just working with the KC owners (this is the exact same relationship as with the Florissant location). From my little understanding, there is some questions about what will happen long term but Proper is running the show with the menu for the time being. I know the Feel State people are extremely proud of what was able to be built under their dispensary model. ✌️❤️🌱
Man, I hate hearing this. Feel State KC is by far my favorite in KC. I hope they can stay the same (as much as possible)

I wouldn't be proud of proper taking over the dispo and upping prices to 50 an eighth and 70 a qt. Seems shady that they're offloading so much product at 30-40 percent off. Why did they sell? Is it true that they stacked too many discounts and lost too much money?
I can’t speak to any of that. I’m not privy to how’s and why’s. I do know that if you are an independent, and only have one dispo, the “big dogs” are coming for you, with or without adult use. The die has been cast… in my opinion. Support your “mom and pops”
It’s a bit shifty.. any time you put some money into something it gets weird. It’s a big bummer to me too. I do know the Feel State vibes were/are crushing it. The KC spot to my knowledge was best in the west. STL is not too shabby:) But I would anticipate Proper doing it differently. A lot of owners are having difficulty allocating funds to build out their cultivation’s. So you may see quite a few “independent” verticals move to GDF, Proper, etc..
