💪 Didn’t bite the dentist 😎
I made sure they knew before hand that I have tics and apologised in advance if I bit her finger. But. I DIDNT!!!
I really wanted to. Strong urges friends. But I was able to redirect them to my legs by shaking the whole time. She had to stop a few times to let me do a head tic. But. Other than that. Success!!!

When I'm at the dentist I'm too focused on not looking her in the eye, and wondering if she can see where my eyes are looking through the sunglasses they give you. Then I'm like, no don't be stupid she's looking in my mouth. Then I'm making sure my tongue is out of the way, to the point where I'm moving it too much and it starts to get in the way so I force myself to relax. I constantly think my head is in the wrong position, or my mouth is closed too much/open too wide. I feel weird when she asks a yes or no question with an instrument in my mouth, does she expect me to answer? I guess she can tell the difference between an affirmative noise and a negative noise so I give my answer and then I wonder if I did that right or wrong.
Anyway, not much headspace to tic because as you know there's like this on/off switch. My tics just don't really come out during a dentist appointment. I think my OCD gets ramped up though.
