Question about VN developers

This is a rly stupid question... and I probably know the logicial answer but I still wanna ask it.

Does anyone know how serious VN developers take the opinions of people from 2chan/5chan/Futaba or whatever its called. Basically the 4chan from japan. Do they take their complaints serious?

But I guess its the more logical step. Look at the sale revenue and then they check their survey, emails and all the opinions on twitter and the downloading sites.

I recently started to learn japanese and are using those sites a bit to communicate with japanese ppl. Mostly curious if they have any kind of impact to Visual Novels or other japanese games? Since i am rly not familar with japanese culture and i dont rly see any other "forums" there.
