Definitely under some dubious circumstances but a triple double nonetheless.
He did not do well for most of this game, but he did well 4th quarter, and almost got us the win.
First of many!
Is it really only his first triple double?
Yeah, he's never been a primary option in any game so it makes sense this is the first time he got it. He was always limited by assists (easily gets the double double with points+rebounds)
He was very close in the playoffs before Embiid injured him, and there was still plenty of time left in the game. He for sure would have got it then
Yeah. Had a 10 assist game last year but didn’t have the boards.
Scottie did not have a game to celebrate. He had a game to learn from.
Scot Barn
Sgoatie Barn
One down many to come!
Scottie is Toronto's son. More triple dubs to come. Be great 4
Low effort post
The most bizarre triple double I’ve ever seen. Not much to celebrate here. Scottie was getting blown by in the first 3 quarters and putting minimal effort into defence. He looked slow, sluggish and frankly tired. He didn’t start looking to score until pascal went out. If Scottie played the whole game the way he played the 4th we would have won that game. I’m happy for his triple double but this was an ugly performance from him
With Pascal out, this is going to be the start of Scottie’s journey through the trials and tribulations of becoming a superstar
He was not good. If Pascal didn't get hurt he belonged on the bench in the 4th.
He wasn’t aggressive through 3 quarters.
4th Q when the team needed him he was far and away their best player. Led a comeback against a good team on the road and almost pulled it off.
You got the see the floor general last night - he doesn’t get to do that with Pascal or Fred in the lineup.
Even in the 4th he was good on offence but terrible defensively. Luka cooked him every time with ease, while OG and Precious actually gave him trouble.
it's the injury
I'm happy to see that he can turn it on. I'm sure he will learn from this. I figure between his nagging ankle and learning to play the point full time, he'll have some suspect games that we could have won. He looked way too passive to start, like he was gonna let Pascal duel it out with Luka or something.
Let's hope for progress. Go Raps!
Beginning for the second quarter with Gary and four bench killed us momentum wise… that line did not work Scottie picked up later on in the game but gg let’s get bulls tmrw
Really did this after a loss ?
it's historic, copium
Celebrate the positives. Learn from the loss. This is his first of many, and most of those will become wins for the team.
Maybe start trying to win the game before its out of reach next time Scottie.
You have a Scottie flair...
So just cause I like a player doesn't mean I'm gonna delude myself into thinking he played perfectly fine every night like you bums.
He definitely plays within the flow of the game maybe a little too much at times. Hopefully he keeps improving on his killer instinct. That's kind of the next step for him in my eyes
You're getting downvoted, but you're kinda right. Scottie doesn't really force himself into the game, he lets it come to him. Double edged sword if hes the number 1 guy.
That being said, he also got a knee to knee so I'd give him a pass
Scotties gonna get more numbers with Pascal out. Take it easy P
I think scottie’s still been hampered with his ankle, hopefully its normal by sunday but he hasnt looked to post up at all this season so far and thats a huge part of his game
