Pokemon Go Plus can’t connect

I bought a Pokemon Go plus and waited for the problem to be resolved before using it, but now I’ve tried it and my iPhone sees it but won’t connect. Is there still an issue that Niantic hasn’t announced or is my 3rd one also not working (bought 2 before that I had to return because they didn’t work)?

Edit : I had bought the other 2 in September so them not working wasn’t linked to the Zorua thing
