I'm starting to have this nagging feeling that CK3 might be a shallow game?

Discussion

Compared to CK2 there is barely any gravy for my mash potatoes in CK3. The mash potatoes being the base game and the gravy being stuff to do in the game. So it's kind of like a big pile of mash potatoes and a few globs of gravy here and there. In CK2 my entire pile of mash potatoes was covered in gravy! Don't get me wrong, the mash potatoes are well done with lots of butter, and nice balance of salt, and they are cooked really well. I just wish it came with a nice thick brown gravy, maybe some turkey with it too. Also some Mac and cheese would be awesome too! Now that I think about it the turkey should represent the base game and all the sides are the fun content and DLC. So with that in mind we have a beautiful well cooked juicy turkey, stuffed with some dressing, and maybe a side of mash potatoes and gravy. But we are missing, Mac and cheese, green beans, yams, rolls, cornbread, pies, and all the other fixings. So Paradox you've cooked a great turkey and served no sides. When you do serve the sides of please make sure the Mac and cheese is really cheesy!

Edit: changed CK3 to CK2 in line 5

I mean, its a fun game for map painting and incest but it gets boring after a while. Dont expect it to fill the inneviable emptiness of modern human existence

I think your right, rimworld for example just brought out a DLC that brought in kids and traits. It has heaps of depth that I feel is missing from ck3
