Budget gaming rig with scavenged parts. Need mobo & case suggestions.

Build Help

I have several older computers that I'd like to repurpose for a backup PC, but I don't know what's still worth using or even compatible vs. buying new components. Here's the parts in question that I've scavenged:

  • AMD A6-6400K
  • AMD Athlon II X4 645 3.1 GHz x2
  • Intel Core2 Duo E7400
  • Crucial Ballistix Sport 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 CL9
  • Samsung 8GB (2x4gb) 2Rx8 PC3-10600U
  • MSI FM2-A75IA-E53 mobo
  • Inland 500W power supply
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 1050ti

If any of these are still useful/compatible with each other in some way, the only thing I'd need to get is a case, and probably a better mobo than the rinkydink MSI thing. I already have hard drives and SSDs I can use. Any recommendations?

(In terms of budget, I'd like to keep under $300 of new parts.)

Not sure what MoBo's match up w/ those old CPU's. That GPU is definitely usable, don't get rid of it, the Crucial RAM would work w/ older parts also.

Yeah, using pcpartpicker to find compatible mobos but it seems a bit hard to find ones still available.
