According to recent reports, they are basically a sweatshop that treats the people making the clothing like shit. on top of that, apparently, there is lead in the clothing which is not safe for us. I haven't fallen completely down the wormhole but I have heard enough that I don't want to support them.

Honestly, I have a lot of luck just hitting the local mall. Forever 21, H&M, hot topic, etc. It’s kind of a whole process, since any or all of the stores can be a crapshoot and just have absolutely nothing good/slutty at any given time.
My all time favorite slutty dresses have come from Ragstock though. I haven’t ever purchased from their online store, but I’ve been to one of their (admittedly limited) locations several times. They have a VERY cyclical inventory though, so you may not find too much that fits the criteria until the spring/summer seasons, which are when I found all my favs.
For online purchases, I also really like Killstar. It’s a very specific aesthetic, but I have been incredibly thrilled with everything I’ve ever purchased from them.

My wife bought a couple of things from "Poster Girl" recently. Definitely not the cheapest in terms of price, but if you can afford it, my god they're hot as hell.
