Is there a technical positives for touching foreheads together?

I see some of my lady friends do this but then say goodbye like nothing's happened. Girl I thought he was with you only to dance traditional bachata with her actual bf 😆😆 I love it. I think it might be zouk influenced??

I know when you're really feeling the music and the dance chemistry is 100% with the guy, I myself find myself doing this but I do have boundaries (such as chin or neck spins) and this is one of the few that have slipped. I'm a very sensitive person so stomach and hips are kind of like my 3rd degree of comfort, I'll be more comfortable if I already know the guy.
