How did you learn to make your video ads?

I have no background in video editing and learning how to make professional looking and high converting video ads is something I struggle with..

It's the final obstacle for me in ecommerce and a particulary difficult one for some reason.

Any good complete tutorials or courses on how to edit together video ads? I know how to find and download the available videos on aliexpress or other sites.

I understand what makes a good video ad but it's more the technical aspect I have problems with.

I tried using hitfilms express but I found it kind of clunky to navigate so other more simple video editing software suggestions are also appreciated.
