Poland pays Elon Musk... US pays Ukraine... Ukraine now pays Elon Musk for service payed by the US

Well i was frustrated, when i heard about his comments on sotuation with crimea etc.... but at the end of the day he still provided starlink internet for ukraine for free, he didnt have to do this. I get its a marketing move also, which helped his popularity, but still. He isnt perfect, but he did help

You clearly have no idea about the history of SpaceX. Try to educate yourself a little first.

And think for just a moment. How did Ukraine have high rez video and man in the loop control over the attack drones in Crimea? If Musk was such a Putin ally, why help Ukraine relay real time targeting data to kill thousands of Russian troops? None of the stories or accusations about how Musk is a Putin or Russian ally makes any sense.

>Who put all his money on SpaceX?

The US government via subsidies.

Again this bullshit?

Who put all his money on SpaceX? Musk.

Where did that money come from? Musk's Paypall business.

Elon Muskovite is just an investor with rich grandfather. Thank the SpaceX team and them alone.

You don't have to like Elon as a person to accept that he's done or facilitated the doing of some amazing feats.

Couldn’t have said it better myself I really looked up to him but now he turned into a bitter Manchild

Ok but that didn’t actually happen.

SpaceX sent a letter to the pentagon asking them to take over funding.

CNN then sensationalized the fuck out of it to drive rage bait and clicks.

The Ukrainian government has made it pretty clear that they feel well supported by SpaceX.

Mykhailo Fedorov - Vice Prime Minister

[Definitely @elonmusk is among the world's top private donors supporting Ukraine. Starlink is an essential element of our critical infrastructure.](https://mobile.twitter.com/fedorovmykhailo/status/1580934203385860097)

Mykhailo Podolyak - Advisor to the President

[Let's be honest. Like it or not, @elonmusk helped us survive the most critical moments of war. Business has the right to its own strategies. 🇺🇦 will find a solution to keep #Starlink working. We expect that the company will provide stable connection till the end of negotiations.](https://twitter.com/podolyak_m/status/1580945804193587200?lang=en)

While you are angry behind keyboard that internet actually works

Oh are you one of those morons that thinks we should "nAtIoNaLiZe SpAcEx BeCaUsE tHeY wAnT mOnEy". If you can recognize that the communication capabilities are that important and are that unique than you should have no problem fucking paying for it. I'm betting you didn't have a problem when Lockheed Martin got paid for HIMARs being sent over. I don't expect Comcast to fund my internet for free and im not in a warzone requieing extra upkeep. You and every other idiot that parrots rage bait headlines damages the reputation of Ukrains support, so please learn to actually read and use some sense.

Do you know how much it costs to keep build, deploy and maintain a satellite constellation? Its like spaceX had endless amount of cash to do this… A gesture of good will from the start of the conflict does not necessarily mean continuous service.

I'm angry that musk threatened and used them to gain attention by dangling the possible cut off of your only communication option in Ukraine to many people for self gain. It angers me.

He didn't want attention to that though, he sent a private letter to the Pentagon months ago asking for money. CNN leaked it, so he responded about it on Twitter after it became public simply saying SpaceX can't afford to fund it indefinitely.

Didn’t happen that way, you fell for CNN and WaPo sensationalism.

I'm angry that elon musk threatened to cut off Ukraines access as a way to get personal attention when they needed it most.

Well. No one is gunna be able to use those damn things at the rate he's going.
