Real talk: Weapons: The overrated, underated, and the impractical

We are gonna talk most craftable weapons, and a few found ones just for fun. GUNS UNDERRATED.30 revolver: 5/10 not very good, low durability, low damage, but very cheap, and so is it's ammo. Great for shooting zombies. WELL RATED Double barrel: 8.5/10 fun, very good for early and even late game, fun to use, the stock really bothers me tho. Bolt action: 6/10 fun to use, made instantly useless by the lever action. Great for destroying armored folks. UNDER RATED 9mm: 9/10 a gun that gets shit on way too much. Overall can kill more people and walkers then the .45 and is cheaper in the long run with ammo prices. People have prefer .45 just suck at aiming and don't eat their jambalaya every day. SOMEWHAT OVERRATED Nova shotgun: 6/10. Fun to use, more durable and higher ammo cap then double barrel, killing everything ez is somewhat boring. VERY OVERRATED.45: 7/10 really is not as powerful as it is hyped up to be, expensive, has drag, bread man is funny looking. UNDERRATED Lever action: 10/10 relatively balanced ammo and crafting prices, absolutely wrecks any armored people with one body shit, feels like Arthur Morgan. VERY SLIGHTLY OVERRATED Assault rifle: 6/10 never really enjoyed it much, burst and single fire are ok. MELEE WELL RATED Shiv: 7/10 cheap and reliable, can never go wrong. DOGSHIT Bayou Slugger: 1.5/10 arguably the worst large melee in the game. No, maybe even worse melee. I'd rather use a damn spoon. OVERATED Night shift: 6/10 just a more expensive slightly better shiv. Very fun for throwing. UNDERRATED Sheet Metal Cleaver: 8/10 decapitation is cool, makes you feel like Lee Everett. SLIGHTLY OVERRATED Katana. 8.5/10 It's very fun and powerful, but at some point you need some variety in your life. WELL RATED 4th and pain: 7/10 more expensive and slightly better cleaver reskin, not fun to go and get the recipe for, grows old after a while. SUPER UNDERRATED: Esteemed Mortal. 9.5/10 is very fun, decapitation and has a spear on the other side of the handle, gets slept on because the katana is usually unlocked long before this is. Both craftable bombs besides the cans kinda suck and are expensive so we'll skip em WELL RATED: Samedis hand: 8/10 slightly less stamina drain, sharper, and more durable then the fourth and pain, but when you consider decapitation they even themselves out. WELL RATED: Compound bow: 9/10, very practical, only thing really worth speaking of in the survival table, very useful And fun when combined with special arrows, mostly good against walkers. Spoons and lighrers are fucking stupid like how the fuck does that penetrate the skull
