Just Like The Moon

In the cold solitude of space

I am just like the moon

Alone but surrounded by others

.

Blazing shooting stars whiz by

And I wish to clash upon the world

Like a furious astroid

.

Seeking company amongst the stars

In a neverending void of galaxies

Hoping for a light-speed joy

.

I pull the tides of sorrow

With dark empty craters

Embodying a place

That most will never visit
