Used to have a shed outside of the house with a loft in it where I had a couch and tv and such. The Fortress of Solitude. Sometimes even in the Maine winter I wanted my private space and I would go out there and have a pipe and watch old sitcoms on the tv.
Flying squirrels that lived in the walls of the shed would come out on the beam above my head and watch the tv with me while catching the heat from the space heater. They lived there for years and would come out and peek in on me to see what the human was doing.
That's awesome! She was surprisingly easy to grab. I just hope she didn't drop a litter in the house.

Safely returned to the woods.
Correction she was a southern flying squirrel
Way better than a flying cockroach.
I didn’t know those were native to America, a person from Florida taught me something today

Southern flying squirrels are amazing. I had one as a pet when I found him as a wee baby on my doorstep (probably bad flying lesson, so I'm guessing he was about 120 days old at that time).
Learned his name, and we played games together and would come when I called for him. Was a truly amazing pet. And get this...he knew my now ex-wife was a piece of shit the day he first met her. He jumped on her face, screamed, jumped to her shoulder, took a massive dump, then went back to his cage and wouldnt come out. I should have listened to him. Best pet ever. My ex's mom ended up accidentally killing him with rat poison while I was deployed to Afghanistan. RIP Peanut.
Sorry to hear that man. Lost a cat the same way, neighbor put out poison and my cat got ahold of a poisoned rat. Horrifying way to go and I'll never touch/purchase it ever. RIP Malie.
RIP Malie. That sucks.
