What do these people think will happen? Assassinate Katie Hobbs and Kari Lake gets to be governor? AFAIK the line of succession does not go Governor > Candidate For Governor Who Lost > 8 Chans Choice of MAGA person > SecofState (unless they’re a democrat also)
I miss the old internet. Social media destroyed this country. Used to be a time where you could discuss politics, argue and name-call without threatening to assassinate people to get a dopamine bump.
I believe because the internet is now easily accessible for all now. Way back in the dark ages (when only certain colleges had access to the internet) I quickly realized just how much garbage was out there as, I suspect most users also did.
Now most users have now clue how the internet works or where that "information" comes from, plus a vast increase in pure garbage usually propagated by other uninformed users.
Yup, as someone who works tech support it's concerning how many people in general treat their computers and their internet as a black box with absolutely no clue on how anything functions.
There's a great clip of The IT Crowd about this where Jen thinks the internet is just a wireless black box.
