Very cool.

Well, I just went from not knowing they existed to thinking they're cool as hell, so thanks for that!

This was an extremely challenging image to create. I trained an AI on Goloma images which I had to draw and/or photoshop myself, since there's hardly anything available online. After that, it was a process of generating images, refining the prompt, and feeding those back into the AI to train it further.

This final image was generated with inpainting, and touch-ups done by hand. The other images can be found at endlesscharacters.com, where I have released them all into the public domain.

Thanks for sharing! AI driven art is a wild new frontier with very powerful tools(that I wish my pc could handle in bulk!). If you dont mind, how many images did you create and use to train the AI, and how many hours went into this piece? Goloman sound cool and I love the vibes from this.

I used the two official images, a bunch of horses and minotaurs I painted over to have more eyes and a faceplate, smaller horns, etc, and a couple other pictures that I felt got the concept and pose about right.

It took about 4-5 hours to paint and crop the training images, 3 hours to train the model, another 2 hours testing prompts so the model would stop making normal horses, a few more hours generating thousands of images and sorting or fixing them, and then about an hour iterating and painting over the final image. This doesn't even count the time I spent trying to get it work with previous failed models...

For reference, I trained an orc model yesterday and it took about half an hour of work, followed by letting the AI train for 3 hours, and then it was done and worked great. It's much easier when thousands of reference images are available and not just 3-4.

Could probably throw some Xenomorph in there too

Awesome, thank you! I feel like this is something that needs to be focused on in order to quell the naysayers for AI driven art. It still takes a lot of skill and time!

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Skill and time both go a long way towards getting you the image you want, but it will just keep getting easier going forward.

Oh my goodness, I've been dying to find some solid Goloma art for a Goloma Fate Patron Witch I've been running, this is a lifesaver. Thanks so much OP!

Not a big fan of AI art, but i appreciate more goloma in general.

Btw, the little dots in the hair are eyes, and should be the same color as the main 8 to reflect that.

All the Goloma (and everything else on the website) are released under CC0, so feel free to touch it up and change it slightly if you like/use it for whatever purpose.
