paragard question

I just had my paragard inserted on Tuesday. I was spotting on Monday before and then had spottin after the insertion. Had some light bleeding yesterday, too. How will I know if it's just bleeding from insertion or if it's my period? I'm 16 weeks postpartum and have had one period at 7 weeks postpartum, plus I'm breastfeeding.
