Human Race (Poem I found in a 1934 Latin textbook)
We are so small
In a world so large.
Are you lost?
Tossed in a sea of faces?
Are you naked in the cold?
Do you cry when others luagh?
Do you luagh when others cry?
Do you try to grasp at life,
While it slips through your fingers?
Do you feel helpless, void?
Unnumbered, possesed, and calculated.
Welcome to the great human race.

Like I stated in the title, I found this in an abandoned 1934 Latin textbook. I am unsure on some of the words in the second to last line, so if you want to help try and figure out out I will be posting the picture on another post.
