My favourite poet

You say poetry is impenetrable,
reserved only for the few
but you write poems so beautifully
with your smiles

poetry moves and inspires
when you kiss me for goodnight
a wrinkled bud blooms inside me
beautifully delicate growth

your breaths like couplets
rhymes evolving behind your eyelids
euphonious sighs
metaphorical touch

you say poetry is impenetrable
yet when I smell your skin
the last stanza is always clear
