How to reach Level 40 in Raid Shadow Legends in 5 days (or less) - Guide
Full Guide here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/103Ri63xobJSbaGrHP45KV3tP5eaw-WDMAh1XzBKzzb0/edit
I definitely recommend reading the Full Guide in its entirety. It explains what I did for every Progress Mission as well as suggestions to optimize your progression with the various Challenges, Masteries, and more. Thank you for your time!
INTRO
Hello! My original guide exceeded Reddit's 40,000 character limit, so it has been posted in a Google Doc in the link above.
The main ideas of that guide will be reiterated here. With the Raid Shadow Legends offer requiring you to reach Level 40, you must grind various activities in the game in order to gain XP towards your Account Level. This guide intends to help you progress through the game, to the point that you can grind the hardest Campaign stages without having to pay attention to the game.
I have done the Raid Shadow Legends Level 40 offer around 9 or 10 times now and generally finish around 5 to 6 days. While you will need to grind in the beginning of the game in order to gear up enough to tackle the higher difficulties of the Campaign, it will become much less hands-on later in the game and you can expect to leave the game to play itself.
From what the SB/FC/Raid forums and servers say, Account Level XP is determined by how much Energy you spend. However, some activities award more XP than others despite costing the same amount of Energy. Therefore, it is best to grind the hardest parts of the Campaign that you possibly can. This guide will help you reach the Hard and Brutal difficulty of the Campaign as you gear up your Champions.

NOTES
- If you have done the Sacred Shard offer in the past, you can do the Level 40 offer as well.
- You do NOT need to make a purchase for the Level 40 offer. I have never purchased any microtransactions in Raid and have always been credited after reaching Account Level 40 and closing the game.
- Because the New Player Codes are only redeemable up to a certain Account Level, it is best to enter the code "POWERSTARTER" as soon as you are able. Usually that is when the Yellow Tutorial Arrow stops forcing you around the game.
- After the first week of starting the game, certain Dungeons of elemental affinities (Magic/Blue, Spirit/Green, Force/Red, Void/Purple) will be time-gated. Therefore, it is best to either finish the offer within a week or get your necessary potions before they are time-gated.
- While you must start the offer on a desktop computer or laptop and make your Plarium account upon downloading the Plarium Play (Raid Shadow Legends launcher) client, you can play on the Mobile version of Raid Shadow Legends by logging into the same Plarium Play account. However, you must be sure to REACH ACCOUNT LEVEL 40 on the desktop computer or laptop that you started the offer on. It is critical that you DO NOT reach Level 40 on the Mobile version.
AUTOCLICKER
To preface, the autoclicker is absolutely not necessary for this offer at all. Instead, you can set up a macro on your mouse to auto-click for you.
In the past four times that I have done the Level 40 offer for Raid, I have used an application called RSL Helper to basically play the game for me. When first reading about the tool, it was a bit sussy but after seeing how people in the FC and Raid server discuss using it and how much easier it makes doing this offer, I had decided to try it out. While a macro can only auto-click something for you (replay the same Campaign stage), RSL Helper was notably more helpful in the way that it can perform numerous game-related tasks. This includes actions such as playing Campaign or Dungeon stages for a specified amount/time, automatically buying Energy Refills with Gems, automatically selling Artifacts in accordance to my specified guidelines, and more. Here are some of the things I learned while using it:
- You can download and use it even if you are in the middle of an existing Raid offer.
- You can have the tool open when you finally reach Account Level 40.
- I wondered that if the tool was open when I completed the offer, would it disqualify/not credit me? However, the offer pends around five minutes after you close the Raid Shadow Legends application, even with the tool open.
- You will really only use the tool when you are in the second half of the Raid offer, when you must grind the same Campaign stages to gain Account XP.

I. BEGINNING
In the beginning of the game, you’ll be given the choice of choosing between 4 Champions, but you should pick Kael. Following this, you’ll be whisked away to the main hub of the game and proceed along with the mandatory tutorial marked with yellow arrows. The culmination of this tutorial is you finishing Kaerok Castle: Stage 7 of the Campaign, which will grant you a Champion named Warpriest. Please Lock her immediately in the Champions menu so that you do not accidentally delete or use her for other purposes. Warpriest will be the main healer of your final team composition.
In the main hub, you will notice that there are 3 types of objective nodes that you can interact with: Progress Missions, Quests, and Challenges. My general rule-of-thumb is to follow along with the Progress Missions as they will help you become familiar with the game as well as grant you good rewards like Energy, Gems, Silver, Potions, and more. The same applies to the Challenges, but the Quests (which are separated into Daily, Weekly, and Monthly sections) are less important since they are generally completed passively as you play the game. Some things that the Progress Missions and Challenges require are objectives such as leveling Common (white border) Champions to Level 10 (or higher) or upgrading their Ascension Level (making their Stars purple) to a certain point. In this way, it may prove best to avoid performing all of these actions early before the Progress Missions and Challenges require them.
Interacting with the 3 horizontal lines on the left on the main hub brings up a menu that allows you to collect Daily Login Rewards, New Player Rewards and Progression Rewards as well as entering Promotional Codes. At this point, please enter the code “POWERSTARTER” to get the Rank 4 Champion Tallia sent to your in-game inbox along with other items. Do not claim her or the other items from your inbox yet. She is the same Elemental Affinity as Kael (Magic/blue) which is neat for when you start getting Elemental Affinity-related upgrades (explained later). This code has been active since April 2022, but if it doesn’t work in the future, please refer to this site for the newest codes: https://hellhades.com/raid-shadow-legends-promo-codes/
From here, please follow along with the Progress Missions and Challenges. You may find it beneficial to finish Part 1 of Champion Challenges in the Challenges menu. The reason for this is because Part 2 requires you to level up Common (white border) Champions, which is something that you’ll be doing rather soon in order to upgrade the Rank (increase Stars) of Kael, Warpriest, Taila, and more.
Please save your Epic Skill Tomes (dark blue books) for Tallia as those are the only ones that can be used by her. Conversely, only use the Rare Skill Tomes (light blue books) for Kael and Warpriest.
The reason why we are doing Progress Missions, specifically completing the first set, is because of the 300 Gem reward that you get for completing the first set along with the numerous rewards that you get along the way.
\\
TLDR (1) of the following bullet points:
- Start the offer before 12:00 AM UTC to double-dip on Daily Login and New Player Rewards.
- Pick Kael and complete the tutorial to get Warpriest (Lock her immediately in the Champions menu).
- Enter code “POWERSTARTER” at the main hub to get a Rank 4 Champion named Tallia and other goodies sent to your in-game inbox (do not claim her until after you complete the Progress Mission requiring a Mastery upgrade).
- Follow the objectives set by the Progress Missions and Challenges. Try to finish the first set of Progress Missions.
- Only level up Common (white border) Champions to Level 9 at maximum if you are not at Part 2 of the Champions Challenges in the Challenges menu yet.
- When Progress Missions or Challenges require you to upgrade the Ascension Level or regular Level of Champions, or even Artifact Levels, prioritize upgrading Kael and Warpriest, but never beyond the specified objective.
- Please do not use your Demon Lord keys (they appear when you join a clan) until the Progress Missions require you to.
- Don’t get too attached to the Artifacts that you will get throughout the Normal Campaign as the Hard and Brutal difficulties will give you higher-starred Artifacts.
- Complete the Normal difficulty Campaign to move on to the Middle section.
~
II. MIDDLE
At this point, you have unlocked the Hard difficulty of the Campaign, allowing you to rerun it for new and higher-starred Artifacts albeit at a higher difficulty. The goal of this section is to rank up and level up Kael to Rank 5 and Level 50, as well as upgrading Warpriest, Tallia, and your fourth Champion to Level 40. Additionally, you will begin to get higher-starred Artifacts, so you can truly begin upgrading them further than before. Moreover, higher-starred Artifacts sell for much more than the lower ones. It is best to equip each Champion with a Lifesteal set, which requires 4 equipped Artifacts. In this way, your team should be equipped as such:
- Kael: 2x Divine Offense/Speed, 4x Lifesteal
- Warpriest: 2x Speed, 4x Lifesteal
- Tallia: 2x Speed, 4x Lifesteal
- Spirithost/4th Champion: 2x Speed, 4x Lifesteal
At this point, just get whatever high-starred Artifacts for these specific sets that you can get, regardless of the Primary Stat. Keep following the Progress Missions, go through the Hard Campaign, and try to complete Challenges whenever and wherever you can. Currently, I am on Part 3 of 5 for Champion Challenges, Part 4 of 10 for Artifact Challenges, Part 2 of 5 for Dungeon Challenges, and Part 2 of 3 for Arena Challenges.
For Great Hall bonuses, aim for ATK bonuses for Magic (blue), Spirit (green), and Force (red) to fulfill the objective for Arena Challenges. Whenever you are hard stuck and cannot progress past a certain Campaign stage, just rerun Dungeons or prior Campaign stages with lower-ranked Champions to level them up. This is so that they are ranked up for the purpose of being used by Kael, Warpriest, Tallia, and your fourth Champion to increase their own ranks.
Compared to the first set of Progress Missions, the second set of Progress Missions require a lot more effort and time. Unless you were doing the Sacred Shards offers in the past, you don’t need to complete every single Progress Mission in the second set, just the ones you are capable of completing. This is because they do not really have an impact on your Account Level. The main reason for doing them is for Energy Refills, Gems, and other rewards like Skill Tomes, special Artifacts like Accessories, and more.
\\
TLDR (2) of the following bullet points:
- Keep following the objectives set by the Progress Missions and Challenges. Finish the first set of Progress Missions at the very least.
- Remember not to perform actions required by future objectives too early (this includes playing certain Campaign or Dungeon stages, upgrading the Ascension Level of Champions, upgrading Artifact Levels, defeating other players in Classic Arenas, dealing damage to the Demon Lord, and more).
- Get and upgrade 3/4-starred Lifesteal Artifacts to Level 8 (or higher as required by Progress Missions or Challenges) to equip on your main four Champions.
- Whenever you are grinding Campaign or Dungeon stages for the purpose of getting a specific type of Artifact or Potion and you are confident that your Kael can single-handedly complete the stage, you can add on lower-ranked Champions to begin leveling them up so that they can be used as fodder for upgrading the Rank of your main four Champions.
- Complete the Hard difficulty Campaign to move on to the End section. However, you can choose to stay on the Hard difficulty and grind Brimstone Path: Stage 6 with your main four Champions while ranking and leveling them up to increase your likelihood of success.
~
III. END
At this point, you have beat every stage of the Hard difficulty Campaign and can now access the Brutal difficulty Campaign. Now, it should be stated that you can absolutely stay on the Hard difficulty Campaign and grind Brimstone Path: Stage 6 to get experience towards your Account Level. However, when testing the XP gains of both Brimstone Path: Stage 6 on Hard and Brutal difficulties, I found that the Brutal difficulty gives more Account Level XP.
First, I was at Account Level 39 when I began testing the XP gains. I played the Normal difficulty Campaign until my Level percentage ended in “0”. This was to make sure that I had as little XP towards the current percentage. Next, I played Brimstone Path: Stage 6 on the Hard and Brutal difficulties until I reached the next interval of 10%. And so, this was how much experience I gained from both Hard and Brutal difficulties:
Brimstone Path: Stage 6 XP Yield:
Hard: 70-70-70-71-71-72-72-73-73-73-74-74-75-75-75-76-76-77-77-78-78-78-79-79-80%
Brutal: 40-40-41-42-42-43-44-44-45-45-46-47-47-48-48-49-50%
From this, it can be observed that from grinding the Hard difficulty, you have to do around ~25 runs of Brimstone Path: Stage 6. Then, it takes around ~17 runs of Brimstone Path: Stage 6 on the Brutal difficulty. While I usually grind through the Brutal Campaign, it is definitely still viable to run it on Hard to grind for Account Level XP.
~
UPDATE: I decided to test this again when doing another Raid offer, this time on Durham Forest: Stage 6 and the Deadlands: Stage 2 on the Brutal difficulty with the same methodology as explained above and my Account Level at 39. I decided on these two particular Areas because you may get another Spirithost from Durham Forest to use towards upgrading your current Spirithost's skills, and because you may get another Warmaiden from the Deadlands to use to upgrade your current Warmaiden's skills. Moreover, since the elemental affinity of the enemies in Stage 2 were countered by Kael (Magic/Blue > Spirit/Green), this Stage could be solo'd by him while you add fodder Champions to your team. These were my findings:
Durham Forest: Stage 6 XP Yield:
Brutal: 30-30-31-31-31-32-32-33-33-34-34-34-35-35-36-36-36-37-37-38-38-39-39-39-40%
The Deadlands: Stage 2 XP Yield:
Brutal: 50-50-51-51-52-52-53-54-54-55-55-56-56-57-57-58-58-59-60%
Now, I find this to be quite interesting. From this, we can see that we must complete ~25 runs of Durham Forest: Stage 6 on Brutal to gain 10% towards your Account Level. Then, we must complete ~20 runs of the Deadlands: Stage 2 on Brutal to gain 10% as well.
While on Durham Forest: Stage 6, every percentage increase towards your Account Level will vary between 2 runs minimum to 3 runs maximum. On the other hand, on the Deadlands: Stage 2 (not Stage 6), every percentage increase will vary between 1 run minimum to 2 runs maximum, which is quite similar to Brimstone Path: Stage 6 on Brutal, albeit it is quite less common for that 1 Run percentage increase to occur. In fact, it was only seen twice between 52% to 53% to 54% as well as between 58% to 59% to 60%. On the other hand, the 1 Run percentage increase was seen multiple times in the Brimstone Path: Stage 6 between 40% to 41% to 42%, 42% to 43% to 44%, 45% to 46% to 47%, and finally 48% to 49% to 50%.
I had not bothered to check previous Campaign areas in this manner before, so this is a bit surprising. With all this known, I would say that it is definitely viable to grind The Deadlands: Stage 2 on the Brutal difficulty if you are hard stuck at any further Campaign areas or stages.
~
At this point, you should have around ~600 energy and around ~1,200 gems. However, if you were to progress through the Brutal Campaign, you can get new Campaign progress rewards at the bottom of the screen on the Campaign menu. This includes energy, gems, silver, and more. In addition to this, you have a much higher chance of getting 4 and even 5-star Artifacts.
However, this does mean that you will have to grind a bit more in order to reach Brimstone Path on the Brutal difficulty. This grind includes upgrading your Great Hall bonuses, getting more Mastery Scrolls for your main four Champions, and upgrading their Rank, Ascension Level, and Skills. The choice is yours! If you decide to run through the Brutal difficulty Campaign, please follow along with this next section. If not, thank you for reading my guide and I hope that it helped you!
~
Right now, I have just finished the Progress Mission for upgrading Kael to Level 50. Now, you will have to focus on upgrading Warpriest, Tallia, and your fourth Champion to both Rank 5 and Level 50. This will be a grind, but it’ll result in a quicker completion of this offer. Some things that you will be focusing on now are Ascending and getting Mastery Scrolls to unlock Masteries for your Champions, Upgrading fodder Champions to upgrade your main four Champions, Upgrading your Artifacts to Level 12 and higher, and playing Classic Arenas to upgrade your Great Hall bonuses. I will continue writing about the Progress Missions below!
\\
TLDR (3) of the following bullet points:
- Keep following the objectives set by the Progress Missions and Challenges
- Remember not to perform actions required by future objectives too early (this includes completing certain Campaign or Dungeon stages, upgrading the Ascension Level of Champions, upgrading Artifact Levels, defeating other players in Classic Arenas, dealing damage to the Demon Lord, and more).
- When grinding for Mastery Scrolls, prioritize getting Scrolls for Kael and Warpriest by only having those two Champions on your team in the Minotaur’s Labyrinth Dungeon.
- Grind for 4 or even 5-starred Lifesteal Artifacts to equip on your main four Champions. Remember that in addition to having 4x Lifesteal artifacts equipped on them, Kael should have 2x Divine Offense/Speed Artifacts and Warpriest, Tallia, and your fourth Champion should have 2x Speed Artifacts. At this point, you can dedicate more silver towards leveling them up to Level 12 and even Level 16 as required by the Progress Missions.
- Remember to play Classic Arenas whenever you can to acquire more Medals to use in the Great Hall. After completing the Arenas Challenge requiring you to upgrade the ATK bonuses for Magic, Spirit, and Force, proceed to invest in C. DMG and ACC bonuses for the Magic and Spirit elemental affinity specifically.
- The goal of this section is to comfortably grind Brimstone Path: Stage 6 on the Brutal difficulty without failing. Therefore, it is important that all of your main four Champions are Rank 5 at Level 50, and their Ascension Level is as high as it can be with the exception of Tallia who simply requires too many expensive Potions. Ensure that their Artifacts are at Level 12 or higher. In addition to this, if you get any more Skill Tomes, remember to dedicate the Epic Skill Tomes (dark blue books) to Tallia and your Rare Skill Tomes (light blue books) to Kael and Warpriest, and even your fourth Champion if you have upgraded all of Kael and Warpriest’s skills by this point.
