Masks

Poem

I have a lot of masks,

I keep them on my face,

When I meet a different person there's a different one in place,

If I'm drunk I say they slip,

But that's really not the case,

It's just another mask,

That mask feels safe,

My masks have many colours, different sizes and all shapes,

I make sure to have another mask in case the last one breaks,

I do have heavy masks,

They weigh so much I hit the floor,

But I showed a mask to you,

That I haven't seen before,

This mask is very strange, it's soft and feels warm,

And where I'd normally change masks,

This one takes a different form,

I think I'll keep my other masks,

Because I'm worried I'll lose you,

But at least as long as you're around,

This bottom mask will do.
