Does aim lab train timing

Aim Question

I just learned about this app and I haven’t used it yet, however I feel having control/trigger discipline is important when it comes to aim. If you only have a couple rounds in a magazine, or possibly 1, the absolute last thing you want to do is end up pulling the tigger when your crosshair isn’t on target. If they made it so targets phase in and out at random points for a few hundred milliseconds I think this could help nurture a better aiming habit when it comes to timing your shots.

Aim Lab has different playlists that train a number of different aiming skills, timing being one of them. If you look in the steam workshop for Aim Labs, you can also find different playlists some of which are focused on speed. I would recommend going through the assessment first, and then from there finding exercises and playlists that you think would be beneficial to work with.

They also let you customise some of the official Aim Lab tasks that you can do, so you can definitely change the timings that targets appear and disappear. But there are absolutely exercises that require you to quickly shoot, and other ones which are about waiting for a target to flash up on screen and respond to it in time.
