The Elegy of Ba'al, Lord to Jezebel

Poem
  1. A fool she is, as man always seems to be; though she is free’f His law,

Now forever shall she be doomed to ou-r fire.

  1. To trade her eternity away for but vapors of mundane might,

truly I say, I pity man; the poor wayward creature.

  1. Lo, she treats His gift like it were a coin in the well, cast all for nought

Despite her trust in her lord, she is doom-ed to the Grave;

  1. The dreaded inferno for all who have foolishly bowed to me go.

Alas, If she heed’ the words of that dread Tishbite she hated,

  1. She would not be falling into the very maul she gave praise unto.
