Turn off NPC hints?

Hey psychos!

New to BL3, I've been playing for a few hours now, and I'm having a blast. I missed Pandora.

But GODDAMN, npc's just won't shut the hell up, whenever I need to do something. Like Claptrap repeating again and again that I can climb. Or Ellie litterally telling me what I need to do, because I wasn't doing anything.

I don't need these guys telling me what to do, I like it when I can figure things out, or just take my sweet damn time.

Is it possible to turn this off?

Edit: I've been searching in options but couldn't find it.

I believe that this is apart of the missions and is unable to be turned off

Some hints can be disabled in settings, but for the rest the only option is to mute dialogue.

Oh God yes that's so annoying, like if you need one second to do it they will yell at you. In that one mission with the buttplug guy when you have to shoot these water tanks to turn on the electricity and ellie keeps on telling you what to do, I'm just like "YES ELLIE IK I JUST WANT TO LOOT JESUS"
