Peter Pan

Workshop

White winter, Golden summer

I kept the windows opened, waiting for a silhouette to appear

Believed in fairytales even though everyone told me they weren't real

And I would wait every night by the window for you to come

Wishing you would take me to Neverland and tell me never grow up

Neverland, it was filled with magic

but never felt like home to me

Crazy adventures and fighting pirates off the deck

Didn't seem my kinda thing

Wrecked ship in my backyard

Explains the ending

I did have fun

I wasn't always pretending

Promises were broken

I changed a lot

But you stayed the same

like you were on the day we met

Cause I learned a thing that you'll never know

If you never change you never grow
