Because deep inside, Freddie knows if he wants a better chance to win a Championship in the more immediate future, then he rather play with KD than Scottie. But its a huge gamble in the long run. Literally long term pain for short term gain, but that short term gain is another championship. IMO its a very hard decision, one I continue to think about today and onwards.

I’m sure for Fred he would wanna win now just cause he’s a bit older. The younger guys would probably have a different answer. I do think we can construct a championship team with Barnes still on it right now
I couldn’t ever bear with that decision.. I’d have to be a part time Nets fan for sure haha

In my opinion, if I want to build a championship team for this season and next season, I think I rather keep OG than Barnes. OG brings that top notch defense needed to make that long playoff run. So unless we can get a star player with just GTJ and bench pieces, we most likely will have to include Barnes for any significant upgrade.

Unpoular opinion: Serge is awkward on the screen. He’s a fun charismatic dude but when hosting a show, it’s like listening to a middle school band playing a Christmas song they practiced all semester. The effort is there but… you know.
