I Plead Guilty

Poem

We need to talk,
I won't just let you walk,
Ruination you brought,
Great many lessons it taught.

Well, we are both the victim,
How could we have predicted'em,
When a single moment,
Shattered a thousand others,
In Eternal torment,
Feelings, distraught by various matters.

Whilst I played Blind, You.....
You played along with me.
We have sinned for two,
And left in the dark, the innocent three.

Days turn weeks, you turn meek,
I am left to speak, a small creak,
Bones break, burdens build, feelings sour,
Eyes wet, bleeding red, regrets tower.

I wish to break with but not let go,
How do I speak when words die though,
When the selfish shellfish wishes for selfless,
Hurt and misunderstanding it causes.

I speak with courage drawn up,
A sip of water from the cup,
A drip of tears from my eyes,
Hoping to cut and remake all ties.

What prompted this you ask - It's guilt.
What is this you ask - A confession.
Why is this you ask - To apologise.
For I did her wrong - my sworn sister.

I did thee wrong.....
