Lost in a Daydream

I lied when I said I couldn't find a flaw,

I find your personality to be the ugliest of all.

So idealistic and shallow at your core,

Driven from ego and nothing more.

You're one of the most selfish individuals I've ever met,

You feign any of your emotional depth.

You're only a distraction.

There isn't a thing that can hold your short attention.

Grasp at illusions, can't stay sober for even a second.

You're trying to make sense of others emotions.

Claiming everyone else around you is mad.

Believing that everyone else is a sad sap.

Your pit of self pity,

Your apathy so unattractive.

It's your escape.

Get lost in a Daydream,

Go ahead and seal your fate.

The one you created for yourself.

No one can hurt you when you're fake.
