last apprentice/Spook's ttrpg systems?

Hello I come from D&D (5e) and have been long disillusioned with the high fantasy bent of the system (no shade, great system just not for what I want). I am looking for a darker/more grim system not dissimilar to the way the world is portrayed in Joseph Delaney's the Last Apprentice or (Spook's for non-USA markets). I especially like the darker elements on magic in that world where it is deeply mistrusted and how there are grim elements like how witches thumb bones can be taken to use their magic. It feels like a much darker world setting and is one that I much prefer.

I'm looking especially for a combat heavy system and would love an official one from the series, but I can't find one. I'm looking for suggestions about gritty/dark fantasy that isn't necessarily low magic, a la the last apprentice.
