Kaitian CM1309 100W laser cutter is not connecting to computer
Our shop has a Kaitian CM1309 100W laser cutter. It was bought second hand and we weren't the ones to set it up. Now the laser won't communicate with the computer and we aren't able to use a USB flash dive (it won't read it) to cut files. The guy who set up the laser was flown in from another state earlier this year and isn't able to come at the moment.
Is there anyone around the South Central Indiana area who can help us get the laser fixed? Or we will also take suggestions on new things to try.
These are the things that our IT guy tried:
-
Reinstalling rdworksv8 & respective USB drivers
-
Updated all device drivers in totality within windows
-
Attempted to search com ports for connected devices
-
Attempted multiple power cycles at different phases
-
Removed anti-virus that was interfering with USB drivers
-
Attempted swapping connected cables
-
Attempted to connect via network
-
Bought a new cable that connects the laser to the computer
