How do I do this: SharePoint List -> Filter SharePoint List Data dynamically -> display in table -> allow user to only accept/Reject?
I am a total novice to Power Apps, so I am hoping someone can provide me with the best direction to start to do this process below. I have watched a few tutorials to understand basics.
I would also like your view whether a simple form, or a gallery would be better for this task.
Scenario:
Essentially, I want to be able to use data from a live SharePoint List, filter this data within the app by taking todays live date and using that to select a range of dates (a weeks worth) from an existing column in the SharePoint List. I also want to filter this data dependant on the user who is viewing it if possible.
Then I want to display certain columns of the filtered data in a simple table,l to show multiple columns, but with the only editable column being an accept or reject choice column from the Sharepoint List. (I need it in a table because they would accept/reject around 30 at once so I don’t want them going in and out of individual records). If they select reject, I would like an additional comments box to appear.
After changing the column from blank to accept/reject, I want this to update on the Sharepoint List.
The Goal:
So basically I would like to make this as simple as possible for the user, where it shows the correct data for them immediately, and they just have to have a simple accept/reject to choose and a comments box if they reject and that’s it.
Data: Different column types, just over 10,000 rows in the list, 16 Columns
