Is a 1987 toyota supra hatchback a good first car?

I like how it looks but does it make well for a first car? I just found one for 7k with 113k miles on it. But i dont have knowledge on cars. Is it reliable/ cheap to maintain. Or at least not expensive to maintain and repair
