Asked my ex (current friend) not to come over so that my current girlfriend isn't uncomfortable and she can't understand.

I'm in a new relationship and told my ex girlfriend I'd prefer if she didn't come to my house for a while (she's friends with some of my roommates, and her and I are on good terms) so that it wouldn't make my current girlfriend uncomfortable. When I asked her this she took it more as an attack than a simple boundary that was being set. Two months later she's still upset and cant understand that having her around would make my current girlfriend uncomfortable. I really tried my best to communicate thoroughly in person too but she just doesn't seem to understand.

Also, she has a boyfriend and it seems to be going really well for them, so I don't think jealously or any of that is a factor.

Another thing is that my ex didn't do anything wrong, its just that she's my ex and my girlfriend expressed a lot of discomfort around the idea of her being in my home, which I completely understand.

What are your honest thoughts on this? Am I in the wrong?

edit: My current gf and I were a very new relationship at the time this happened, so our trust levels were not the highest. Since then my current girlfriend has expressed feeling more comfortable and is open to us hanging out.
