Another HBOMax Audio Issue - No Center Audio

I’ve tried searching the sub here and all over google, can’t quite understand this issue I’m having. I’ll preface this by saying I clearly understand the HBOMax app has its fair share of issues.

As background I have a 3.1 setup. The issue I’m having is that when playing content on HBOMax, my center channel is not firing and dialogue is coming from my L/R, in stereo. What’s even weirder though, is that the HBO Advertisements before the show starts is all working properly in surround. Even weirder yet, the recap of the last episode is working in surround!

It’s only when the show itself starts, I’m losing surround and it goes to stereo only.

Any ideas what to check?
