Rookie mistakes have happened. Bought passive bookshelf aoeakers, meant to get active for some plug n play

Now it looks like i'm building a sound system lmfaooo

Alsight folk. I'm completely new to wires and shit. The two soeakers came as is. Nothing else included. Learned that soeaker wire is a thing.

Howeber, now I have two solid soeakers for the soace I have, but nothing to conndct it to or give it power.

What,'s the next step here? I've read about recievers and amplifier but I dont know which is what I meed!

Any suggestions? I've been a headphones guy for decades and know them very well... bur speakers? Nah bro.

Edit tk arify: i bought a pair of pokt xt15s, thought I could plug am aux in ans just let ot do But it did not go that way. Nos I am eyes a setuo for my room

Edit: i am working with polk's mxt15 bookshelf speakers, theyre both passive and I am a complete noob. Any and all advice inswelcome
