Need Help With Unfixable Lag When Switching Display Modes On Laptop

Hi everyone!

I just got a new Lenovo Slim 7 Pro x (Ryzen 9, RTX 3050,120 Hz, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11) and I've found that when I put my laptop display mode on Automatic Select, every time it switches from the NVIDIA GPU only to Optimus, my cursor has a TON of lag and it is unfixable unless i switch back to NVIDIA GPU only or I reboot my laptop. I don't want to stay on NVIDIA GPU forever because my laptop's battery life is literally only like 4h with it on even with only light use, but I also don't want to stay on Optimus forever because I still want to play video games. I am also fairly sure I have the latest NVIDIA driver version downloaded.

Another (much less significant but also annoying) gripe I've been having is that every time it switches between the display modes, my discord literally zooms out to the minimal zoom and I have to restart the app.

Does anyone know a fix for these? Thank you so much!
