Help needed with xmp troublshoot
I build a new PC this weekend and once I tried to enable xmp things went sideways.
Specs: Am5 7600x cpu Rx6900xt gpu 32 gb Kingston fury 5600 (2x16) ram C750 Nzxt PSU Gigabyte b650 x ax motherboard 2tb pcie4 wd black m2 drive
Btw I checked on gigabytes website and my ram is officially supported.
So I got everything to work right away. Installed windows 10, set everything up as I needed it. Ran some benchmarks. Everything seems ok at this point.
Then I ran memtest86 and I got 22 errors on the first pass already. So I took my ram sticks out (position 2 and 4 as indicated by the motherboard to be the main channel) and firstly just tried to put the first stick on 4 and the second on 2.
Next run on memtest 0 errors! So maybe they just weren't plugged in the first time. So I enable xmp which boosted from 4800 at 1.1 v to 5600 at 1.25.
Now the trouble begins:
I could not enter my bios anymore, black screen, all fans spinning at maximum. I reset and reset same thing. Now I unplugged my mouse and keyboard, both USB devices and tried again. This time I got into the bios! It told me a failed boot was detected and reset the ram to stock.
Ok so I heard a lot about xmp not working right away so I bump up the voltage from 1.25 to 1.3 and reset. I get a boot and cpuz confirms my ram works at the advertised speed. Lucky I thought. Now the real problem starts.
I went to bed as all the troubleshooting and building the pc took up all day and this morning it didn't post again! I tried the same thing as before, unplug my USB devices and I get into the bios where it resets everything. Dumb and stubborn as I am i increase the voltage from 1.3 to 1.35 and this time it won't let me into bios even with unconnected Usb devices.
I tried the reset button on my mb which I set to boot straight into bios but still nothing. Black screen. Fans spinning on max. And this goes ok for as long as I let it.
I wanted to try channel 1 and 3 as well but my CPU cooler is to large to allow for that easy switch.
So my train of thought is now the following: I will flash the bios with USB so it atleast will work again with default setting and send my RAM back and demand some proper sticks. If no one has any kind of tech advice I don't see what else I can do at this point.
Everything that could help would be appreciated.

Disconnect all usb and the power cable, then take out your cmos battery rather than just hitting the reset button. Leave it out for a few mins then pop it back in and see if that works. That's my only idea.
Trying that right now. If I get into the bios I will definitely RMA the sticks and stop playing around.
