How often do you actually clean your burr grinder?

You’re supposed to clean them?

I clean it with more coffee!

Before buying some real nice coffee as a part of the celebration.

I use a photocamera sensor blower and a brush before and/or after each use, but a full teardown cleaning in 1.5 years time hasn't been needed yet. Metal burrs, hand grinder.

Usually when I switch coffees, or every couple of months if I stick with the same beans

Baratza sent me an email at the one year anniversary of registering my virtuoso reminding me to give it a cleaning, so that's the schedule I've kept

Once every 2 weeks I take out the burrs on my Encore and give everything a good cleaning.

Once every two or three weeks.

About every 3# it gets a brushing and vacuuming out. I have a Eureka Mignon so it pretty dead simple and only remove the top burr in the process.

I cleaned mine once, then it was an absolute nightmare getting the burrs aligned properly again so I haven't bothered cleaning it since.
