Can these guys not just find one spokesperson who isn't a posh hippy?
Can someone please make a Posh Anarchist name generator app? Mix Dulux Paint colours and 80s High Street shops.
My name shall be Cornmeal Ponden Mill.
Indigo Rumbelow is a fantastic name
Straight from Toast of London
Tell me you're virtue signalling without telling me you're virtue signalling
Since we are all presumably aware of climate change (although some redditors may not be, their awareness has possibly been raised by the Just Stop Oil protests), the only thing worthy of discussion here would be the following. What should be the legal limits to protests? What sorts of disruptions should one be allowed to get away with without having to face legal consequences.
I think protestors who don't hinder and obstruct anyone but merely stand somewhere and shout their opinions, whether that's at clinics performing abortion, gas stations, or governmental buildings, should be in the clear.
It's more difficult if they prevent people from doing their jobs or going about their business.
Also, Indigo Rumbelow is a great name for an activist published by the Guardian. It's what you'd use in a novel.
The problem with this lot is they're a bunch of wusses. If you commit a crime that has a penalty of two years in prison or lower, you're likely to be up in-front of a magistrate, who'll probably send you to jail because they all read the Daily Mail.
They need to aim for a crime of five years or more, you'll be sent to a crown court with a jury. Then their "acksherlly <insert crime here> is less of an offence to killing the planet!" might actually work, but it's best to commit crimes in cities like Bristol or Cheltenham for that to work. Anywhere where juries are likely to have above-average numbers of Lib Dem voters.
Of course, given their track record and obvious contempt for the law, they might get jailed for five years. But surely that's worth it for the climate.
What are they waiting for?
makes chicken noises
Coincidentally, that's also Braverman's message to Just Stop Oil.

"Suella, we're braver man"
If the judgements of the past few days is anything to go by, they can continue to not listen from prison.
Similar to the general publics message to Just Stop Oil then
Yeah, same
