Honda civic 2020 SI help
Fair warning, this might be a long post.
I bought a used honda civic 2020 si with around 58k miles on it on the 18th of November. A day later a deer ran into it sadly, and I had to take it to a local collision center owned by a pretty large car company in the area (felt comfortable taking it there as they also owned a Honda dealership). The collision required most of the front passenger stuff to be replaced with no frame damage. the collision center went forward and replaced most of the components and said they gave the car to honda to replace the turbo and the components that went with it (i can post the files they gave me but I will most likely have to scrape some of the personal data from the paperwork).
This is where the mess-up starts on their end. I went to pick up the car today and drove it maybe two miles up the highway, and it started getting really hot (at least the sensors said that it said to pull over as the engine was overheating or something) so I pulled over and let it idle on the highway for id say <5 minutes to cool down as I wasn't too sure what was going on. I ended up driving maybe another two miles to pull over in a safe spot at a local gas station where I found out while on the phone with the repair shop to diagnose the issue that there was no coolant in the vehicle whatsoever. the car was later towed back to not the collision portion of their company, but the honda dealership for some reason (the place they said messed up) and they gave me a rental.
I was told that they would have to find out what happened for this situation to happen. Some of my family told me to demand they replace the whole vehicle regardless of the situation they give it back to me In. I'm just looking for advise since I know honda uses aluminum blocks, and that could be warped at this point.
