i have the ultimate bluetooth controller. I am trying to use the wireless mode using the dongle on PC but steam keep recognising it as an xbox controller instead of a switch controller. Any idea how can I change that?

Switch mode only works in Bluetooth mode.

Don't these beta firmwares allow Switch over 2.4gz now? I cannot confirm but I'm sure some of you do.
Has someone tried this? What’s the polling rate on switch mode over 2.4ghz?

Turn on this option in STEAM, and then try BETA firmware.
You can't right now. There is beta firmware for the dongle and controller floating around where you can change the mode, like the SN30 Pro. But not on the current firmware.
Patience is a virtue, I‘m waiting, too.
Ahh, thanks for replying. After some digging I thought this was the case too, hoping that the Bluetooth mode works well enough for me.
