Anyone stopped breathing?

I get sleep paralysis all the time it used to always be as I was waking up but now it’s always when falling asleep. I have really bad tonsillitis atm and I stopped be breathing when sleep paralysis kicked in. Luckily it only lasted 10 seconds. Has this happened to anyone else? Idk if I should just force myself to stay awake?
